IT Asset Manager
Responsibilities:
As IT Asset Manager you will manage the information inventory related to services, software, and hardware assets. Additionally, you will be responsible for the development and evolvement of processes, policies, standards, systems, and measurements that help the organization to effectively manage both on a daily basis and long-term its IT asset portfolio with regards to operational, security, control, risk, and IT Governance as established by the company.

Your profile:
To cope with the tasks, you have several years of experience in working in a similar role with profound knowledge in IT information asset management. Ideally you have a university degree in computer science, Information technology or business administration or equivalent education/further education in a related field. A valid existing permanent work-permission for Switzerland or an EFTA-citizenship is mandatory.

As IT Asset Manager you will manage the information inventory related to services, software, and hardware assets. You will also take on other responsibilities such as:
- Governance concerning the IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools applied in managing, monitoring, and reporting on IT assets and inventory
- Managing and maintaining databases and records of information such as services, service agreements, software and hardware assets
- Perform operational and strategic management of services, hardware and software assets
- Provide KPI/Metric information (standardized and ad hoc reporting)
- Perform regular reviews of the asset data and initiate corrective actions
- Enhance the scheme for identifying hardware and software-related assets in the asset management tools and databases
- Manage the governance including policies, processes and procedures related to service, software and hardware asset management as a process owner
- Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycle

- Ability to perform multiple tasks in parallel and at a high level of quality
