Our client is a leading alternatives investment specialist with offices globally. They are seeking an Associate for their PE Secondaries team in Zurich. What the job involves
- Responsible for Private Equity secondary transactions, including sourcing, screening, due diligence, execution and monitoring
- Active team member providing support in secondary transactions project management, including industry research and business analysis, financial analysis and modeling, transaction underwriting and execution
- Support in preparing documentation for the investment committee
- Involvement in all aspects of the Private Equity Secondary investment team's tasks
- Work in constant collaboration with global teams across all investment hubs
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in private equity, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking or consulting
- University degree (masters) in business, management, finance, engineering or other major with MBA from a top university;
- Strong analytical skills including business and sector analysis with good commercial sense
- Strong financial skills and understanding of financial statements
- Strong command of Excel, orientation to detail
- Proficient English is a prerequisite, any additional language is a plus
- Ability to work on several time-constrained projects at the same time
