US Tax / Steuern Analyst

On behalf of our client, a leading, globally operating Asset Manager headquartered in Central Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a US Tax Analyst to join the local team. In this role you would be responsible for supporting on all tax related aspects regarding private market investments in the US.

Your Responsibilities:
- Assist on all US tax matters related to private market funds
- Work closely with investment teams on tax due diligence, structuring and tax provisions
- Establish and manage operational tax controls and processes
- Provide support on the yearly tax compliance process as well as tax reports to investors
- Collect information for tax reporting procedures to authorities in the US in collaboration with external service providers
- Asses and implement changes in tax regulations into internal controls

Your Profile:
- Min. 1 year working experience with US tax within a financial institution
- University degree in related field or relevant further education (e.g. tax, accounting, finance, etc.)
- Prior experience working with US tax rulings related to funds, specifically private markets would be an asset
- Full fluency in English, German would be an advantage (for internal communication)
- Highly analytical approach and ability strong organizational skills and good eye for details
