On behalf of our client, one of the world's leading researching biopharmaceutical companies, based in Lucerne area, Swisslinx is looking for a Brand & Customer Manager (BCM) to join Genitourinary Cancers in the Oncology Business Unit.
This is initially an 8-months contract position (maternity leave cover) with a great opportunity to bring your proven knowledge and expertise to an organization that offers a dynamic working environment.

Your mission:

The BCM Oncology is responsible to define and implement the marketing and promotional strategies and activities to support the growth of our Oncology portfolio. In this critical role the BCM will work cross-functionally together with the Sales Team, Market Access, the Commercial Operations and the Digital & Data Analytics team to implement the Oncology Business Unit strategy. Furthermore, you will work together with Medical Affairs to provide critical customer insights and a coordinated approach to the implementation of promotional and non-promotional field-based activities.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following key activities:

Strategy:
- Analyze local market trends and identify commercial opportunities; allocate resources and manage budgets
- Develop strategies for major accounts and track, monitor progress and adjust activities accordingly
- Understand and articulate the Customer Buying Process into a marketing plan
- Determine segmentation strategy based on input from all groups interacting with customers
- Provide forecasting and track local initiatives and utilization of local promotion budgets (oversight)

Commercial activities:
- Accountable for the delivery of the marketing strategy and tactics to deliver performance
- Understand the Customer's channel preferences; develop and implement innovative programs and services in line with Customer needs
- Leverage digital and search for new and innovative ways of interacting with Customers
- Achieve the optimal channel mix for customer while seeking synergies and efficiencies
- Utilize materials developed by the global / regional organizations or develop new ones to personalize the offering

Project Management & Collaboration:
- Lead cross functional Brand team and align around regional strategy
- Align with Medical Affairs and provide input on local medical initiatives
- Share and implement best practices across the business unit / affiliation
- Collaborate closely with the sales manager and the sales force and ensure that customer and field insights are continuously collected and processed
- Independently lead and support pan-tumour marketing projects within the agile multi-indication marketing team

Your profile:

- Master's degree, Life Sciences or another relevant discipline with healthcare curriculum preferred
- Strong scientific background or acquired skills in Oncology
- 1+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or related business experience
- 1+ years Swiss Oncology market experience preferred
- Experience in Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs and/or Account Management within healthcare industry is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in partnering with customers, building sustainable relationships and leveraging customer insights to drive solutions and strategies across the franchise to address unmet needs
- Result-orientated with a proven track record of success for consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative targets or qualitative objectives
- Experience working with co-promotion or co-commercialization partners is a plus
- High level of analytical skills
- Ability to influence, and work effectively within a matrix and multi-cultural environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, French language skills are advantageous
- Understanding of new ways of working (i.e.: Agile, Scrum) in a hybrid work model
