Your role
Are you passionate about data? Do you want to design and build next generation business applications using the latest technologies? Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally? We're looking for someone like that to:
• provide modern platform solutions for Data Science Analytics that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using latest distributed computing and artificial intelligence technology.
• work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You'll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you'll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you'll gain a wider perspective.
Besides all that, you'll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you'll get to know us.

You'll be working in the Analytics Platform team, as part of the Technology division in Zurich. We offer you a highly motivated and experienced multi national team with in-depth knowledge about Advanced Analytics, building models and algorithms. Our goal is to enable the UBS Business' for a digital and analytical future! You'll participate in all phases of the development lifecycle and are responsible to design, document and maintain innovative applications. This role includes insight into the Analytics Platform and development possibilities.
Your expertise
You need have completed your bachelor's or master's degree.
In particular, you have:
• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you're a people person)
• a structured work style, confident working autonomously
• experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, Python or R)
• experience in combining modern AI/ML Platforms with BigData Platform
• excellent German and English (written and verbal)
Perhaps you've organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you've achieved match the skills we're after.
