Our client, a privately managed European investment holding company active across multiple sectors - real estate, retail and media to name a few - is looking to add an Analyst to their team in Zurich.
This role will cover the whole range of corporate finance projects such as M&A and their related financing (structured/leveraged finance, and ECM/DCM), restructuring, and post-merger integration, all set in an international environment. This is a unique opportunity for junior individuals to strengthen their multidisciplinary finance skills in a dynamic and high calibre team .

What the job involves
  • Take on a diverse range of tasks related to complex new acquisitions at the holding level as well as add-ons for the existing portfolio
  • Cover a range of topics such as capital markets transactions, bond issuances and corporate loan transactions
  • Support rating processes and roadshow preparation
  • Take responsibility for the sale of minority stakes of subsidiaries
  • Handle reporting to investors and the supervisory board as well as their ad-hoc requests
  • Drive various due diligence workstreams, Post-Merger-Integration projects and strategic corporate development

Who we are looking for
  • Prior professional experience in corporate finance
  • Strong presentation and financial modelling skills are a must. Our client prefers candidates who are in, or have completed, the Analyst programme at a renowned investment bank or boutique as part of its M&A, leveraged finance or debt capital markets team
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset - you will often work independently as part of a small team and lead processes on your own
  • Fluency in English is required and native German level preferred
