Our client, a luminary within the engineering and construction sector, is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position Project Finance at their location in the heart of Zurich. For this role we are looking for a person with strong quantitative analytical skills and preferably experience in a bank, financial institution or ECAs. This offers an exciting position with great potential for future growth and development. Further this posits the opportunity to play a key role in the development of large-scale infrastructure projects. Fluent English skills are mandatory.

Your Duties
  • Financial evaluation of infrastructure projects financially and structuring of financial solutions for the investment needs of infrastructure projects
  • Manage coordination with banks, financial institutions as well as consultants to arrange for syndication and sourcing of funds from various financial institutions, banks and lease finance companies
  • Screening activities of new projects including defining project description and scope as well as conducting feasibility studies to determine the financial viability of new ventures projecting cash flow and growth opportunities
  • Handle evaluation of capital investment proposals and calculation of project
  • Research activities within past transaction to identify pricing, debt levels, trends and best practice
  • Manage the evaluation of capital investment proposals and calculation of project
  • Develop project plan including recommended deliverables and milestones
  • Prepare, monitor and guarantee cash flow, fund flows, profitability statements, IRRs, payback periods, DSCRs, projected profitability and further parameters
  • Manage all activities related to funding tie-up and financial closure through to disbursement
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities regarding sanctions and approvals

Your Profile
  • University Degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience preferably within a bank, financial institution or ECAs (e.g., UKEF, OeKB, SACE)
  • Proven track record with large infrastructure projects
  • Experienced in structuring infrastructure financing transactions and/ or procurements and the commercial aspects of the associated documentation
  • You're well versed with public-private partnerships, concessions, EPC-F's and acquisition and project financing structures/ contracts that relate to the infrastructure sector
  • You are equipped with solid quantitative analytical capabilities as well as the ability to build financial models
  • You are featured with deep problem-solving skills and are known for your ability to prioritize shifting workloads within a fast-changing industry
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory
  • Willing to travel up to 30 percent
