ITSO Application Responsible Software Engineer / Ingenieur

On behalf of our Client, a well-established company active in the banking and financial industry, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced ITSO Application Responsible Software Engineer.

This is a two years contract position with possibility of extension based in Zurich with 100% of working capacity.

Working from home is possible as our Client has a hybrid working policy.

A quick glance to your daily responsibilities:
• Development, operation, and maintenance of applications including lifecycle management (Hardware/Software).
• Provision and execution of the deployment process with Jenkins, Nexus, and Octopus in different environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD)
• Further development and maintenance of the deployment process and the Version management using Bitbucket, Git.
• Programming with Java and Python.
• Definition of job control, end of day processing.
• Data corrections via SQL, complex DB queries, data migrations.
• Performance optimizations (analysis/Tuning).
• Error analysis on the Linux side (Java stack trace, script, OS tools).
• Active participation in projects.

• Experience with SQL database
• Programming in Python would be second priority
• Experience in the area of client tax reporting systems, preferably with the software Easy Tax from Regnology and in 2nd/3rd level support is an advantage
