To support our Private Equity Technology team in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced professional for the following position:

Business Analyst 100%
Key member of the agile change team, the business analyst ensures the change pipeline is adequately documented allowing software engineers to perform development. The business analyst aligns business requirements with the platform capability and ensure the agile change team properly delivers them.

Key activities
  • Responsible for ensuring the continued evolution and professional operation of the core applications, eFront Invest and reporting platform
  • Manage new applications onboarding as well as change in existing applications across their entire lifecycle, from design over build, testing and training to the release stage, in collaboration with the vendor and agile change team
  • Interact directly with business users to identify and analyze their needs, actively participate in business process design and changes
  • Collaborate actively with product owner to ensure the change pipeline is always up to date
  • Ensure project integration within agile process
  • Present, explain and seek guidance from stakeholders
  • Help agile change team by configuring systems directly
  • Support users in daily operations (2nd/3rd level incident and problem management)

Required profile
  • University degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Bachelor's degree, preferably in financial services, corporate finance, or fund accounting
  • Work experience as business analyst, system configuration is a plus
  • Work experience preferably in the finance or private equity industry or in a similar role
  • Experience with eFront Invest software is a definite plus
  • Appetite for system configuration and programming, ideally in a Microsoft environment (SQL, C#, VB)
  • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and flexible
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an agile team
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written) German would be an asset
