On behalf of our client, a Swiss multinational Technology Company, Swisslinx are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Operations Manager to join an onsite contracting opportunity in the area of Basel.

In this role you would be responsible for supporting the day to day IT infrastructure Operations at our client, and your key focus would be the following:
- Support the Director of Global IT Operations in daily activities such as preparing support for meetings, gathering status updates, creating and following up on actions and activities, create and update reporting dashboard for the various project and activities
- Manage the Global IT Operations project portfolio, including reporting and cost tracking, forecast for projects and operations etc.
- Work with Global IT Operations to create multi year plans, roadmaps and strategies
- Manage all communications activities towards IT and internal customers
- Create and support execution of organizational change plans
- Review cost and contract structure and propose improvements
- Support IT Operations team with escalations and major incidents requiring coordination

Your profile:
- You're able to work independently and bring a can-do attitude as well as a willingness to learn
- You bring excellent communication and organizational skills
- You're able to facilitate meetings and workshops, from agenda creation to wrap-up
- You bring experience in managing competing priorities
- You have the ability to engage and lead teams in an international environment

Your background:
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the IT infrastructure field, including outsourcing of activities and vendor management
- Proven track record of handling IT operations and infrastructure support escalations
- At least 3 years of project and portfolio management experience
- Experience in writing RFPs
- Experience in people change management
- Financial management experience (projects and operations)

Nice to have:
- Fluency in German, written and spoken
- SAP usage know-how
