For our client in Basel, a very well versed and globally highly successful bank, we are looking for a character with confident presence for the position of Senior Auditor. We are looking for an experienced auditor who preferably has in-depth experience within banking and in at least one of the following areas: Risk, Trading, Treasury, Investment Products, Operations, Credit or related disciplines. This offers an exciting challenge, with the option of drawing on the full range of your own resources and strengths. Then this is the right position for you. Fluent German and/ or English skills are mandatory.

Your Duties

  • Independently plan and execute end-to-end audits on target and on time, as well as communicate results
  • Act as a sparring partner for the organisation to strengthen processes and controls
  • Write reports and monitor the implementation of recommended measures up to the implementation stage
  • Prepare statements for all management levels, including the board of directors, and participate in special investigations and projects
  • Take on technical responsibility


Your Profile

  • University Degree in Banking or similar, degree in Auditing, CIA, CPA, CFA or equivalent degree/ professional experience are a plus
  • 4-5 years of work experience in internal or external auditing, experience in banking is highly preferrable
  • You are known for your efficient, reliable and proactive way of working and proof yourself to be an ambitious and resilient, empathetic team player who values integrity
  • You are interested in continuously developing yourself within the framework of professional training and further education
  • You are open to travelling abroad
  • Fluent German and/or English skills are mandatory
