For one of our clients, an Asset Manager based in Geneva we are looking for an :

M&A ASSOCIATE - PRIVATE EQUITY & VENTURE CAPITAL

Job description
  • Perform investment research and analysis on deals of Pre IPO
  • Undertake economic and market research on industries to develop investment theses
  • Identify investment opportunities through their various networks
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, producing quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Work with the investment team to synthesize due diligence findings into investment memos, formal investment analyses and presentations
  • Support the team in negotiation/structuring, closing and funding of transactions
  • Preparation of marketing materials in support of fundraising efforts


Profile required
  • Advanced university degree in Finance (Master, PhD) or advanced university degree in Engineering (Master, PhD) completed by an MBA
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in investment banking/M&A, private equity (direct investment), venture capital or in a consulting firm
  • Preferred sector experience (or market interest) in the Tech & Green or consumer
  • Knowledge of all aspects of M&A transactions, including transaction management, financial and valuation analysis, documentation, due diligence, and negotiations
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and financial modelling skills
  • Ability to operate in an environment of rapidly changing priorities
  • Independent thinker with excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to formulate opinions and debate constructively in a team
  • Fluent in English and French with excellent writtend and verbal communication skills
