Associate - Private Equity Funds & Direct/Co-Investments

Alpha Leonis Partners is an independent investment advisory firm with offices in Zürich (HQ) and New York. The firm focuses on investments in private equity funds and direct/co-investments, real estate investments, yield enhancement strategies as well as active private equity-like strategies in capital markets.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic private equity investment team. The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years private markets experience and be an integral part of the team which originates, executes and monitors private equity/real estate funds as well as direct/co-investment transactions globally.

The position: Full-time employment, located in Zürich, Switzerland.
Starting date: Per mutual agreement, preferably by January 2023.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on primary private equity fund investments and direct/co-investment opportunities including industry and company research
• Assist with preparation of due diligence materials and investment committee memos
• Perform in-depth valuation analyses of private companies and private equity portfolios
• Support fund marketing and existing client requests
• Review client portfolios and preparing quarterly report materials
• Attend investment manager meetings and industry conferences
• Monitor existing and new investments

Qualifications

• University degree in business, economics, finance or a closely related field preferred
• Strong analytical capabilities: Investing in private markets requires candidates who are motivated to quickly and comprehensively learn and master new skills
• Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
• Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail
• Interest and passion for investing: Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written): Our business language is English, additional languages are highly valued
• Personal and professional integrity of the highest order
