On behalf of one of our clients, a leading commodity organisation, Swisslinx is seeking a qualified Internal Audit and Risk professional to join the growing team in Switzerland.
Key Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years' experience in internal or external audit, working in the commodity trading industry.
- Certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CFA, FRM (Global Association Risk Professional/ Energy Risk Professional - ERP) are a plus.
- Operationally excellent with a hands-on approach.
- Flexible to work in a global team across various time zones, able to lead global project teams.
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills.
- Analytical skills combined with critical thinking.
- Experience in data analytics and digitalisation space is a plus.
- EU/Swiss work permit required.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Provide guidance on financial accuracy, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls over key risks, identifying significant exposures, analyzing transactions and information.
- Develop strong relationships within global marketing business and actively engage with stakeholders across all levels and functions to identify relevant trends, emerging risks, and help drive change.
- Apply latest digital technology and data analytics solutions.
- Plan, organize and perform audits, both remote and on site.
- Identify control gaps, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities, understand relevant root-causes.
- Flexibility for 30% international travel.
