About our client
Our client is a leading private equity fund which is looking to bring on board two Financial Information and Valuation Managers. This team acts as the central hub between the funds investors, deal teams and its Investor Relations team. It is accountable for analysing and reporting all financials of their portfolio companies, quarterly valuations, LP requests and working closely with IR.
What the job involves
  • Produce accurate and relevant financial information and valuation
  • Support in design and production of internal and external marketing and reporting materials
  • Provide on demand information to LPs
  • Design and produce fundraising materials and manage the operational fundraising process
  • Conducting market watch and continuously feeding market intelligence to maintain a comprehensive view of industry performance
  • In the context of fundraising preparation, work closely with IR committee and external parties to produce all relevant client marketing communication including but not limited to pre-marketing presentation, PPM, DDQ
  • Deep competence in understanding and analysing financial accounts, assessing projections and conducting valuations Continuously monitoring and maintaining a consistent view ("one truth") of portfolio companies' financials
  • Preparing regular reviews of portfolio companies' performance for management & investors including quarterly reports, and other support documentation, annual reviews and other ad-hoc updates
Who we are looking for
  • Technical finance qualifications (CA, RA, CFA or equivalent is a plus)
  • Experience from large audit / accounting firm, family office, private equity fund or private equity team within a bank
  • Experience from conducting corporate valuations, financial analysis and reporting at audit/accounting firm, PE firm or similar is a plus
  • International experience with exposure to European markets particularly valuable. European language skills also deemed to be a plus, as is time spent living and working abroad. The candidate is expected to be based in / relocate to Luxembourg
  • Deep knowledge of financial valuations
  • Interest and ability to drive improvements through process, consistency, automation / digital tools, with a 'can-do' mentality and a strong desire to create impact
  • Able to work cross border in a highly international firm with a diverse and broad range of portfolio companies and individuals
