IT Infrastructure Project Manager

As the premier supplier to our client, one of the most established company specializing in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, we are looking for IT Network Infrastructure Project Manager with network experience with engineering (buildings) stakeholders.

This is a 12-month contract role starting ASAP with chance of extension or even internalization based in the Canton of Basel-Land
Main project content - IT Infrastructure projects around 2 new building construction, 150 Capex projects
Tasks - project planning, monitoring and management, risk management, engineering stakeholder management, forecast Network budget CAPEX for 150 project lifecycle.
Your main responsibilities will include:
The Project Manager will need to be involved in activities like design, testing and deployment and oversee configurations executed by Installation partners.

Tasks associated to the role
• As he PM to taking ownership and drive vendor interactions, primarily on a technical level, together with the Information Systems (IS) Domain Delivery manager.
• Lead and Support a portfolio of infra projects throughout the project lifecycle (Initiate, plan and design, execute, monitor & control, and close).
• Understand and implement the current and future Infra target landscape.
• Develop, manage, and maintain the Project Charter and Work Plan in collaboration with vendors, implementation partners and other team members (Internal & External).
• Manage project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables, including ensuring appropriate review and approvals from stakeholders.
• Providing regular status reporting, managing the RAID log for the assigned scope.
Required Skills
• Minimum 5 years of successful project delivery / project management within Telecom/Networking environment
• Capability to work in not well structured organizations, and able to establish Processes
• Experience with build of new buildings and related network activities
• Structural thinking and capability of establishing processes
• Sound technical knowledge in Networking Technologies, minimum CCNA certified
• easy going while interacting with different cultures
• certified PMP, Agile
• Good English and German Language skills
