What you will be doing

• You will be responsible for negotiating contracts and investment fund documents (for hedge and private equity funds, including co-investments) and checking them from a legal and tax perspective (legal due diligence).
• You will examine and negotiate credit agreements and financing transactions with third parties and provide support to the General Counsel Finance in all areas of law relating to asset management.
• You will also analyse and investigate regulatory enquiries relating to matters such as derivatives trading, money laundering, proprietary trading and trade restrictions.
• You will maintain a close working relationship within the Legal, Tax & Com-pliance Team as well as the front office and our international business partners.
• You will spend 60 % of your working time on-site in Lucerne, with the option to work the remaining hours from home. You will also have the opportunity to accompany our Portfolio Manager on international trips and manager visits.

What we expect

• You will have a university degree in law. Admittance to the bar in Switzerland is a plus.
• You will have several (3-5) years of practical experience in the financial sector, preferably at a bank or an asset management company.
• You will be able to communicate and discuss legal matters effectively, even with non-specialists.
• You will be a team player with strong social skills and a distinctive ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Curious by nature and keen to learn, you will be interested in continuously furthering your development and taking part in specific training seminars.
• Fluent knowledge of German and English is a requirement for this position.
