We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

This role is responsible for the definition of the IWS strategic initiatives to promote and develop IWS product and services and client reach, the identification and implementation of collaboration opportunities within the Group with the aim to expand product and service range as well as client scope, the definition, production and communication of IWS content (products, investment ideas) in collaboration with product specialists and chief investment officer. The responsibilities cover the GPB and Wealth client segment in EMEA ex UK.

In this role you will:

Impact on the Business / Function
  • Working closely with Head of IWS on the definition and then implementation of the IWS strategic initiatives (example Annual Investment Review initiative).
  • Management of the IWS content to communicate and promote House views, investment products and services to RMs and ICs
  • Supervising Inside & Research platform to provide research, investment views
  • Working closely with Product Heads in defining the IWS content, monitoring the progress of the product sale initiatives across different locations.
  • Delivering the training sessions on the investment products and services to ICs and RMs in collaboration with Product Specialists to raise the awareness and knowledge (example UHNW Masterclasses, ESG sessions)
  • Collaborating closely with Asia, the UK and other EMEA teams to raise awareness of the unique strengths of EMEA platform.
  • Collaborating closely with other EMEA PB and Wealth centres for the platforms' alignment (delivery of CIO views, product lists, client webinars, etc...)
  • Identifying new opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance trading capabilities and service to all GPB and Wealth clients.
  • Nurture a highly-motivated team through effective communication of business directions and objectives
  • Member of IWS EMEA Exco


Management & Leadership of Non-Financial Risks

  • The role holder will adhere to and promote the Group's Conduct principles.
  • The role holder will continually assess the non-financial risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices and the impact of new technology.
  • The role holder will address any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department in order to proactively manage the non-financial risks relevant to this role. The role holder shall ensure that adequate resources are in place to deal with non-financial risks and training is provided to foster a compliance culture.
  • The role holder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal control requirements. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where required by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including any issues raised by regulators.
  • The role holder will adhere to and promote compliance with all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.


To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Strong financial services and Investment/Wealth business and product knowledge
  • Detailed technical skills with the ability to break down complex situations, spotting trends, inconsistencies, and causal relationships and the ability to communicate these to non-technical specialists
  • Demonstrable experience of leading, managing and coaching a team of business partners in a changing commercial environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment
  • Ability to influence and drive prioritisation decisions.
  • Has worked in an agile environment.
