For one of our clients, a Financial Institution based in Geneva, we are looking for an :

INVESTMENT MANAGER / FUND SELECTION

Job description

Source and analyze investment fund across various styles (long only, hedge fund, private debt, ARP) with a bias towards corporate backed strategies (equity, credit)
Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on identified investment opportunities
Monitor selected funds (update meetings, ad hoc and regular monitoring reports)
Document and communicate investment recommendations on invested funds
Research and report on strategies that could complement their current set of return streams
Contribute to idea generation in regard with portfolio construction for external investment mandates
Implementation and monitoring of external investment portfolios in respect of investment objective and investment committee decision
Ensure best execution for external investment portfolios
Provide content for client reporting external investment portfolio
Participate in marketing/client service activities on an ad hoc basis

Profile required

Master degree in Finance
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an asset manager or a financial firm
Knowledge and understanding of private clients
Fluent in English and French (oral and written)
