Job Description

In our DevTech department, we deliver highly scalable and performant software - with passion. We consist of hundreds of Software Engineers, Architects, Product Owners and Cluster Leads and speak fluent agile - amongst many other languages. We are currently looking for a passionate Theme Owner, basically a mix of a Tech Lead and Senior Project Manager, to join our team and build a product which will be used by financial services companies all over the world.
This is a hands-on role, where one needs to be willing to look into the detail as well as align to the strategic agenda.
Your mission:
  • Act as a stakeholder to the Product Owner & Domain Owner and commit to external stakeholders & customers
  • Be informed by Key Account Managers about new prospects and client requests
  • Be accountable for an assigned portfolio (sum of initiatives or programs) managing the demand and scope, accountable for execution, reporting and risks
  • Ensure that work packages/initiatives are allocated effectively, and the right team has the right work packages so they can be prioritized correctly.
  • Manage and resolve dependencies and conflicts
  • Support Product & Domain Owner before quarterly planning process, request Product Owners to create initiatives for other divisions and other domains
  • Ensure required funding is available, owns and controls the budget (internal and external)
  • Report budget into the management meetings
  • Identify the roles required for the initiatives or programs, staff key roles jointly with the chapter leads

What you need:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Experience in running global projects and correspondent compliance
  • Strong Organizational and Project Management skills
  • Genuine interest in Technology projects, Fintech and Agile working methods
  • Agile experience, analytical, solution driven, ability to work with a team, and above all, has the passion to drive change
  • This is a hands-on role, where one needs to be willing to look into the detail as well as align to the strategic agenda
  • Be able to build and manage trusted relationships with numerous internal and external Stakeholders
  • Experience in Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of Design Patterns used in Java, Angular and Microservices Architectures would be a plus
  • Your way of working includes flexibility, collaboration and team work
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English is a must, German is a nice to have
