Commodity Trading House - Geneva
• M&A process management: Participate in all aspects of M&A activities (Sell-side, Buy-side, Joint Ventures), Coordinate due-diligence teams composed of internal specialists and external advisors (e.g. investment banks, consultants, transaction services providers, legal advisors etc.), Develop valuation models using different methodologies and support to analytically assess deal fundamentals and economics.
• Strategy and business development: Assist in mapping exercise to identify, evaluate, screen and structure potential growth opportunities across businesses, Lead workstreams in strategic development projects and Provide analytical support for business development activities as needed.
• Maintain awareness of competitor activities and market transactions, Contribute towards implementing a zero incident safety culture and Support strategic initiatives with analytical work as necessary.
• A University degree. An MBA or other post graduate financial qualification is an advantage
• 2 - 4 years relevant post-graduate experience required in M&A (MNC, investment bank, private equity) or strategy (MNC or management consulting firm)
• Knowledge of valuation methodologies, cash flow analysis tools, accounting and corporate finance principles. Experience in financial modelling and project analysis
• Fluency in English is required
Other European or Asian languages a distinct advantage
