Your Area of Responsibility:
- Performing the selection and due diligence of funds and asset managers, as well as ongoing monitoring of the selected funds and asset managers
- Working in an international network of fund analysts
- Coordinating with various positions within (e.g. portfolio management, ESG and product management teams) and outside Swiss Life Asset Managers
- Advising the portfolio management teams in the Swiss Life AM third-party business on the selection of funds
- Assisting in planning, coordinating product development activities, conceptual work, with the help of market and competitor analyses
- Active monitoring of fund-based strategies and preparation of action proposals in case of major changes in investment conditions
- Preparing reports, statistics and presentations and participating in review meetings with stakeholders
- Various project tasks
- Interest in assuming line and managerial responsibility over time
Your Profile:
- University of Applied Sciences degree or university degree, preferably in finance or economics. Further training (especially CFA, CIIA, CAIA, in the ESG area etc.) advantageous
- At least seven years' professional experience in the financial services industry (asset management, fund industry, consultant), of which at least five years' professional experience in fund and/or manager selection
- Experience in the direct management of specialist teams and/or experience in the functional management of an international research team preferred.
- Good knowledge of the fund industry and key providers
- Interest in ESG topics in the investment area
- Knowledge of fund databases and tools (e.g. Morningstar/Lipper)
- Portfolio management experience preferred
- Professional use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge in IT (e.g. programming in Python) preferred
- Customer oriented and good communication skills
- Conceptual and analytical thinking
- Very good German and English skills required, French preferred
