- Efficiently guide both the product development and management process while building and maintaining solid relationships with various teams within the company as well as external partners
- Elaborate a deep understanding of existing investment products as well as new product proposals
- Support research, internal/ regulatory approvals, sales and marketing collateral creation, implementation of new product offerings as well as optimization of existing products
- Create term sheets for internal use to detail investment offering as well as operational terms of new services or optimizations of existing services
- Support of the ongoing review of the product platform and recommend products for rationalization and/or enhancements
- Develop product life-cycle process documents in order to increase the speed-to-market for new fund offerings
- Review of service provider agreements to check for alignment with the agreed-to service terms
- Finalize terms, positioning, timetables, internal and external product approval materials in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Manage implementation of initiatives utilizing cross-functional timelines, open issue trackers and check-in calls to keep projects on course
- Monitor progress relative to target dates and milestones, escalate issues or obstacles and update management on the status
- Maintain the product pipeline calendar and drive needed prioritization/ reprioritization of initiatives
Your Profile
- At least 1-3 years of professional experience with at least 1 year of experience in a product development/management or strategy function - ideally in an asset management firm or similar
- Bachelor's degree with focus on Finance, Business Management or Economics or comparable degree
- Profound knowledge and interest in the investment as well as financial market
- Experience with investment products such as mutual funds and private fund offerings is a plus
- You operate with a problem-solving mindset which is highlighted by your strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- You have a knack for building solid relationships and are able to build strong internal networks and work with a variety of teams and of different seniority
- You thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment and manage to effectively handle shifting priorities under pressure
- You have a high-quality standard paying attention to the detail
- Verbal and written communication skills, strong project management and time management skills are your strong suit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, One Note)
