Business Intelligence Analyst with Finance Focus

About our client:

For our client, a highly innovative insurance start-up and part of one of the leading insurance companies in Switzerland with headquarter in Zurich, Swisslinx is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with experience in financial or actuarial analytics. This opportunity is a contracting position.

Your responsibilities:

- Supporting the financial, regulatory, and partner reporting by working alongside the engineering team for process automation
- Managing different data quality topics, including reconciliation, diving into data discrepancies as well as implementing additional levels of control
- Serving as a subject matter expert on financial reporting and integration topics using IFRS17 and GAAP while bridging the interface between the finance, technology teams, and partners on data requirements

Your background:

- 3+ years of practical experience in a financial, actuarial or analytics role
- Strong understanding of SQL and Excel
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data and financial topics
- Familiarity with Tableau, VBA, Python, R and similar tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Business Admin or equivalent
- CFA, ACCA, CIMA or similar certification is a big asset
- Good communication skills in English
