Help our clients deliver value from their M&A activity.

Our Corporate Finance practice helps clients identify, prepare and execute M&A transactions from a Lead Advisory perspective. We support a broad spectrum of clients including multi-national organisations, private equity and investment firms and private shareholders.

Our advisors have a long track-record of completed deals and were trained in bulge bracket investment banks and Big4 corporate finance teams. We work closely with our colleagues in transaction services (due diligence), legal and tax to deliver successful transactions.

As a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager, you will be supporting the M&A team in Zürich on all aspects of typical daily M&A work, including transaction origination and execution. You will be integrated into a project team right from the beginning where you will work directly with Swiss and international clients on domestic and international projects.

How you can make an impact?
  • Work directly with our clients to support M&A projects including sell-side mandates, buy-side mandates, M&A strategy review and development
  • Strengthen your deal execution experience, from project management to financial analysis, preparation of transaction documents and client presentations
  • Be part of a global network of M&A specialists and work in a highly professional, diverse and also fun work environment
  • Be part of our global sector teams and develop industry points of view anticipating M&A trends in specific sectors
  • Collaborate with teams providing complementary services like carve out and integration as well as financial, tax and legal due diligence
  • Develop and broaden your network across industry sectors, the Swiss market and Deloitte

Who we are looking for?
  • You are an open and curious person and are excited about working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Prior work experience in the execution of M&A transactions, gained at an investment bank, M&A boutique, consultancy firm, another Big4 firm or a private equity investor
  • Ability to work autonomously to handle the day-to-day execution of transactions and pursuits, client communication and management of project teams
  • Appetite to grow commercially and support the expansion of our customer base
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation methodologies is a plus
  • Fluent in English AND German; any other languages are a plus
