Essential Duties
  • Identification, analysis, measurement, and reporting of credit risks across the entire Group to the management (interbank, corporate client and retail credit risks)
  • Further development of the risk infrastructure and the limit framework, optimization of risk reporting
  • Creation of independent analyzes and risk assessments with recommendations for decision-makers
  • Participation in cross-departmental projects (e.g. expansion of the stress testing framework, revision of ICS)
  • Risk assessment when entering new projects and structures, direct collaboration with senior management and dedicated desks.
  • Structuring of the limits and facilities to properly mitigate the risks, provide recommendations to the decision-makers.
  • Collaboration with the Business as internal customer, interaction with trade finance, operations, and trading desks.
  • Conduct credit assessments and provide sound and independent rating/credit opinions on a wide array of counterparties spread across geographies and trading desks.
  • Perform regular reviews of the portfolio of counterparties and adjust credit limits as needed.
  • Mitigate credit risks thanks to Insurance, Trade finance tools or tailor-made solutions
  • Ensures that credit risks are correctly reflected in trading tools and credit reporting
  • Takes part to the review of legal documentation from a credit risk perspective

Job Requirements
  • BSc or master's degree in Financial analysis, Economics, Banking and Finance or relevant field
  • 7-10 years Credit Manager or Credit Analyst, on credit fields.
  • A good knowledge of the commodity markets and physical transactions would be an asset.
  • Good understanding of a financial control framework, ideally within a medium to large PLC structure
  • Strong Excel skills with an effective working knowledge of large Excel financial models
  • Negotiation skills.
  • English and/ or German skills are mandatory.
