Equity Analyst Swiss Capital Goods (m/f/d)

Your tasks

As Capital Goods Analyst (m/f/d) you are part of an experienced team focusing on the analysis of German, Austrian and Swiss equities. You are responsible for looking after primarily Swiss companies active in the capital goods sector.
  • The position includes interacting with management teams and industry sources on a regular basis, as well as monitoring the news flow to develop investment ideas.
  • This process focuses on detailed financial modeling, valuation and financial analyses, and the writing of research reports (in English) and the continuous exchange with the institutional clients of the bank as well as your colleagues from Sales & Sales Trading.
  • Regular travel to market your own research, visiting customers with the companies or participation in corporate events is required.

Your profile
  • You have a degree in economics or engineering and / or an MBA and have a high level of initiative.
  • Additional CFA training would be desirable.
  • Ideally, you have experience in research, asset management, sales, private equity, venture capital or M&A.
  • You have knowledge of economics or capital markets (particularly in equities) and a basic knowledge of accounting.
  • You excel in analytical thinking and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You have advanced skills in Excel modeling and are familiar with Word and PowerPoint.
  • Very good written and spoken English and German skills are a matter of course for you.
  • You are a cooperative team player.
