For one of our clients, an asset manager based in Zurich, we are looking for a :

SENIOR SALES - WHOLESALE

Job description
  • With a focus on the German-speaking Swiss Wholesale clients, responsible for proactively pursuing new business, whilst building independent relationships and building your own client pipeline and book of clients
  • Main focus will be on Wholesale clients i.e. Tier 2 banks, Tier 3 banks, External Asset Managers ('EAM') and local branches of global banks (under supervision of global account client manager) and cantonal banks
  • Support the Head of Sales - Switzerland in on-going client activities across the Wholesale business
  • Work in conjunction with the wider Asset Management Sales & Marketing teams to reach the targets set by management from time to time and to achieve the overarching goals of the Asset Management business line
  • Contribute to the focus on long term responsible investing in order to deliver lasting value, to meet the evolving needs of our clients
  • Management of your client information the CRM system
  • Working in collaboration with the Head of Sales - Switzerland on various strategic projects
  • Support and collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver events, campaigns and client communication for Swiss Wholesale clients
  • Attend relevant company presentations, meetings and events
  • Contribute to develop market coverage; support and collaborate with the RFP manager on RFPs where required


Profile required
  • Min 5-7 years' experience within a sales role in Asset Management
  • Driven go-getter with conviction with ethical approach
  • Master's degree in Economic or Finance
  • Relevant industry qualifications i.e. CFA, IMC
  • Strong understanding of market structure and asset classes, investments strategies and ESG
  • Experience in managing a small team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentations skills
  • Swiss German as a first language, as well as fluent English. French speaker would be advantageous
