What it's about
The Quantitative & Risk Management business unit is responsible for corporate, investment and portfolio risk management activities of Partners Group. The group also contributes in integrated business building activities in relation to tasks of quantitative nature.
We are looking to add a senior level professional to our team, in Zug. You will be part of the corporate risk management team and have the following responsibilities.
  • Become part of the Quantitative and Risk Management team in Zug.
  • Lead a group of quants specialized in pricing.
  • Develop pricing strategies for customized private equity, private debt, private real estate and private infrastructure mandates.
  • Defend pricing proposals in front of senior managers (C-level) and senior client solution professionals.
  • Perform competitor pricing analyses and support senior managers in shaping new innovative pricing models.
  • Participate in corporate risk analyses and business development initiatives.
  • Take initiative to develop our quantitative models further.
  • Modelling and analysis of private markets data.
  • Coach junior members of the team and review their work.

What we expect
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantitative project development in finance or consulting and a good understanding of private markets
  • University degree, with emphasis on Finance, Mathematics, Physics or similar quantitative background
  • Driven and self-motivated, with excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
  • Strong quality excellence and ability to work error-free
  • CFA designation is considered an advantage
