Quant Analyst Asset Allocation

The Asset Allocation Team develops the strategic asset allocation for Suva's investment portfolio of over CHF 50 billion, which is invested globally in a broad range of asset classes. This includes asset-liability modelling, portfolio construction as well as qualitative research. In addition, the team manages and implements the tactical asset allocation based on quantitative and fundamental research as well as a portfolio of systematic investment strategies.

What awaits you

• Contribution to the development of the strategic asset allocation
• Support in the analysis and management of the tactical asset allocation based on quantitative and fundamental research
• Research, development and implementation of cross-asset-systematic trading strategies
• Further development of the infrastructure for investment analysis, trading, position management and risk management
• Present investment ideas and strategies in the team and in written reports

What we expect

• University degree in natural sciences/engineering or economics/finance
• Further certification such as CFA/AZEK is a plus
• 1-4 years of work experience in the asset management industry, quantitative work experience preferred
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Very good programming skills in Python (or similar), SQL, VBA and the ability to autonomously develop stable frameworks to improve team workflows
• Knowledge of financial markets, instruments and trading preferred
• Know-how in data science and machine learning techniques is a plus
